Ruth Edith Walker

Ruth Edith Walker, 64, of Floyd, VA, went to be with the Lord November 11, 2009.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, James David Walker, Sr.; Three Sons, David, Daryl, and Eric; Two Grandsons, Brandon, and Darrian; and Granddaughters Kayla and Noel; Sister, Dorothy McGhee; Three Brothers and Sisters-in-laws, James T. Parham (Margie) of Norfolk, Va, Howard V. Parham (Harriet) of Norfolk, VA, John Parham (Elaine) of California; Mother-in-law, Irma Jean Hanson of Floyd; Sister-in-laws, Carol Walker of Maryland, Rosemary Hobson (Joe) of Roanoke, VA; Brother-in-law, Johnny Walker (Melinda) of Floyd, VA and a Host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clinton Crump officiating. Interment will follow in the Little River Community Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
