Cobern Andrew Marshall

Cobern Andrew Marshall, 83 of Indian Valley, went to be with the Lord, Monday, April 9, 2012.

He was the son of the late William Clydis and Edna Duncan Marshall. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 59 years Lorene Showalter Marshall, sons & daughters-in-law; Darrell & Deloris Marshall, Donney & Rebecca Marshall, Thomas & Sodonia Marshall and Clifford & Carla Marshall, nine grandchildren, two step grandchildren, four great grandchildren, three step great grandchildren, four sisters,one half sister and three sisters-in-law.

Cobern was a trustee of the Indian Valley Church of God where he was a member for over 50 years. Also a member of the Model A Club of Christiansburg, which he loved to restore old cars. He loved his family and lived a good Christian Life. His grand & great grandchildren were his pride and joy.

Sleep in Jesus until we meet, never to part again.

Funeral Service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, April 12, 2012 at the Indian Valley Church of God with Rev. Kenneth Poston, Rev. James Walker and Rev. Mike Bond officiating. Interment to follow in Big Sand Cemetery. Family will receive friends Wednesday, April 11, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at the Church.
