Winnie Blanche Marshall

Winnie Blanche Marshall 86 of Willis went to be with the Lord Sunday, January 26, 2014.

Blanche loved to spend her quite moments at home in her favorite chair crocheting. She enjoyed giving away her work to family and friends as much as she did crafting it. Blanche enjoyed listening to gospel music and entertaining her family by playing her Omnichord. She liked spending time with her church family and going shopping. Blanche was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and loved just spending time with the family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jabe & Clara Turman and son Donnie Marshall.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of over 60 years John W. Marshall; sons, Larry Marshall, Ronnie Marshall and Randall Marshall sister & brother-in-law June & Jay Staples brothers & sisters-in-law; Tepe & Jenny Turman and J.D. & Elsie Turman grandsons; Robert Marshall, Jeremy Marshall and John Marshall granddaughters; Tracy Haynes, April Sanders Crystal Marshall Showalter, Robin Marshall, Carol Thompson, Stephanie Marshall, Jennifer Vass, Sarah Lopez, and Morgan Marshall and many great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Norman Goad officiating.

Interment will follow in the Crouse (Turman) Cemetery Dugspur, VA.

The family will receive friends at Maberry Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2014.
