Linda Ann Boyd

Linda Ann Boyd, 62 of Willis, went to be with her Lord, Monday, August 20, 2012. Linda was preceded in death by her mother Annie Belle Pendleton Boyd. She is survived by her father; Isaac Wayne Boyd, aunt; Mabel Boyd, several cousins and her loving church family.

Linda was a devoted daughter & active member of Pleasant Valley Church of the Brethren and had a passion for serving in the Women’s Fellowship of the church. Throughout her life, she read the Bible daily & “Kept the Faith”. She courageously fought the battle against cancer and was an inspiration to all her church family, particularly those who lovingly cared for her during her time of need. She was much loved & will be greatly missed.

Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at the Pleasant Valley Church of the Brethren with Pastor Roy Turpin officiating. Interment to follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church.
