She is preceded in death by Husband, Arthur (A.J.) Martin; Parents, Pete Elliott and Mary Elizabeth Turpin Dowdy; Sister, Virginia (Ginny) Roop; and Brother, Roy Elliott Dowdy.

She is survived by Sons, Eddie Paul Sikes and special friend Robin of Riner, VA, Jody Wayne Sikes and wife Colette of Minden, LA; Daughters, Patty Ann Duncan of Christiansburg, VA, Donna Bryan and husband Daniel of Marshall, TX, and Theresa Marie Underwood of Christiansburg, VA; Sister, Nancy J. Wood and special friend Wayne Carroll of Riner, Va , Special Sister-in-law, Cora East of Christiansburg, VA; Grandchildren, Michele Davis of Christiansburg, VA, Joshua Davis of Delhi, La, Jackie Wisely and husband Cliff of Minden, LA, P.J. Sikes, Jr of Riner, Va, Brooke Sikes of Riner, VA, Jessica Scarberry of Christiansburg, VA, and Frannie Selby of Marshall, TX; Great Grandkids, Paige and Julian Wisely of Minden LA; Special Friends, Vincent and Rosie Torres of Christiansburg, VA and Mike Lane of Rocky Mount, VA.
