Shawn Brent Gerald

Shawn Brent Gerald, 28, of Pulaski, VA, formerly of Indian Valley, VA, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2008. He was born February 21, 1980 in Radford, VA.

Brent was such an outgoing, lovable, fun person who loved his family and friends very dearly. Brent was survived by his parents, John Fredrick (Fred) Gerald, Sr. and Kathryn Sutphin Gerald; Brother and Sister-in-law, Freddie, Jr. and Lisa D. Gerald; Nieces: Emily, Lauren, and MacKenzie Gerald; Maternal Grandmother Elizabeth Sutphin; and Girlfriend Jamie Willard; and her daughter Cheyanne.

Brent will be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Also, he will be missed by his beloved dogs: Miya, Cody, Kane, and Jadah. Brent was a graduate of the Class of 1998 from Floyd County High School. Brent was employed by Danaher Motion in Radford, VA.

Flowers will be appreciated but donations can be made to the Gideon International Organization to be used for Bibles in Memory of Shawn Brent Gerald.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 1, 2008 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the Indian Valley Church of God in Indian Valley, VA. Funeral services will by conducted at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, October 2, 2008 at the Indian Valley Church of God with the Rev. Kenneth Poston and Rev. Joe Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the Captain George Quesenberry Cemetery in Indian Valley, VA. Arrangements by Maberry Funeral Home in Floyd, VA.
