Susan J. Sommers, 84 of Mountain View Nursing Home, Aroda, VA passed away Monday Oct. 11, 2010.

Preceded in death by her husband Daniel A. Sommers, Daughter Nettie Caldwell and Son Elmer Sommers.

Survived by her sons & daughters-in-law Floyd & Esther Sommers, Marvin & Billie Sommers, Daniel Jr. & Florence Sommers, daughters & sons-in-law Martha & Walter Miller, Elizabeth Midcap, Sara Basiletti, Freida & Donald Schott, Irene & Elmer Beiler, and one sister Katie Ann Yoder. Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Oct. 14, 2010 at Wills Ridge Mennonite Church, Floyd, VA.

Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday October 16, 2010 at Hartville Conservative Mennonite Church, officiated by Rev. Eli Yoder. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. Interment to follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
