Maurice B. Dulaney

Maurice Burnette Dulaney, 82 of Floyd, went to be with the Lord Saturday, September 24, 2011. Maurice was born in Floyd County and lived in Florida until retirement and move back to Floyd.

Preceded in death by his parents; Willie & Olivia Dulaney and brothers; Dennis, Ralph, Galen and Leon. He was a member of Pleasant Valley Church of the Brethren; he served in the U.S. Army during the Korea War.

He is survived by his beloved wife Nancy Boothe Dulaney of 57 years. To cherish his memory are his sons and daughter; Jack & Patty , West Palm Beach, FL, Rick & Joann, Pembroke Pines, FL, Eugene, Floyd, and Janet & Juan Khoury, Miami Springs, FL.

Whose love for his grandchildren and great grandchildren knew no bounds. He was the best teacher without ever even trying, just by sharing his life and his love with us.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Pleasant Valley Church of the Brethren with Pastor Roy Turpin officiating. Interment to follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery with Military Rites by Floyd V.F.W. Post #7854 & American Legion Post # 127.

Family will receive friends at Maberry Funeral Home 6-8 p.m. Monday, September 26, 2011 at the funeral home.
