William Edgar Weddle

William Edgar Weddle, 79 of Floyd, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert & Josephine Weddle; and one infant sister, Mary Louise Weddle.

He is survived by his wife, Zelwood Donnelly Weddle; children, Douglas W. & Audra D. Weddle, Sandra Johnson & William Webb, Mike & Colette Donnelly, Susan & Bruce Board, Tracie & Darrell Turner, Wendy & Stephen Vaughn; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Nicole Weddle, Mckenzie Louise Weddle; 10 step-grandchildren; sister, Betty W. King; special friends, Curtis Nolen, Allen Harman; and numerous cousins and special friends.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 1, 2013 at Topeco Church of the Brethren with Rev. Mike Varner and Pastor Roy Turpin officiating. Interment to follow in the Topeco Cemetery with Military Rites by the Floyd V.F.W. Post # 7854 and American Legion Post # 127. The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 p.m. and from 6 – 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Topeco Church of the Brethren Youth Group, 3460 Floyd Hwy S, Floyd, VA 24091.
