Cecil Eugene Vest, 60, of Blacksburg, VA, passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2011.
He is preceded in death by Father, Milton Banks Vest and Sister, Ruth Elsie Vest.
He is survived by Mother, Virginia June Barber Vest; Brothers and Sisters-in-law, Ralph Milton and Betty Ann Vest, Robert Lewis and Marlene Vest, Larry Dale and Doris W. Vest, Melvin Wayne Vest, and Elvin Lane and Becky Vest; Sister and Brother-in-law, Mary Elizabeth and Kenneth Conroy; Seven Nephews; Three Nieces; Three Great Nephews; and One Great Niece.
He fought Spina Bifida all of his life, but now the fight has been won.
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 13, 2011 in the Wilson Cemetery with Rev. Hugh Kilgore officiating. Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 13, 2011 at Maberry Funeral Home.
