Trent Anderson Harris

Trent Anderson Harris, 77 of Stafford County, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2008, at his home with his family at his side. Born May 30, 1931 in Willis, VA, Trent was a son of the late Claude & Clara Ada Harris.

Mr. Harris retired from Shenandoah’s Pride Dairy after 42 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Trent was much loved and respected in his community.

Trent leaves his beloved wife of 47 years, Joyce Corrine Harris, and two loving daughters, Shelby Jones and Angela Ellis and her husband Vincent, six grandchildren, Savannah & Katie Jones, Jacob Stanford, Krista, Jessica & Lauren Ellis.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday Nov. 18, 2008 at Buffalo Mountain Presbyterian Church in Willis, VA with Pastor Joe Quesenberry & Pastor Elmon Thompson officiating. Interment to follow in the Harris Family Cemetery with military honors by Floyd V.F.W. Post #7854 & American Legion Post #127. Family will receive friends 6-8 P.M. Monday Nov. 17, 2008 at Maberry Funeral Home.
