Judith Ann Stuart Jones

Judith Ann Stuart Jones born on January 6, 1967 and passed away on February 2, 2012. She was preceded in death by her grandparents William and Martha Smith and Robert and Martha Stuart and stepfather Garfield Chapman. Judith lost 2 grandchildren at an early age Michael and Candis Jr. She is survived by father Hawthrone Stuart, mother Mary Chapman, 7 children; Tavaris, Candice, Martha, Jalessa, David, Shakina, and Desmond. Brothers; David (Barbara), Hawthrone Jr. (Joanne), Virgil (Darcell), and Sidney (Ernestine). Sisters; Rebecca (Gary), Robinette, and Lisa (Carlton). Two God-sisters Gylanda and Daphene. Judy leaves behind a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.

A special thanks goes to the cancer center at Lewis Gale Medical Center Dr. Paul Richards, Dr. William Fintel and Radiation Dr. Rogers. Special thanks to all the nurses at 6 West and the Techs also which treated her like a part of their family. The immediate family of Judith would like to say a special thanks to her Aunt Barbara Stuart who really took good car of her in times of greatest need. She put up a good fight for 10 long years but it got to bad to continue fighting. Even when her breath was very short her favorite words were I LOVE YOU and THINK POSITIVE. She loved to plan parties and family dinners, because she was a big eater until the last. Her family would like to say thanks to Mrs. Uelea Mills who came to the hospital many times to visit Judith. The family would also like to say thanks for all the telephone calls she received when she was hospitalized and everyone who visited her. She will be missed by the whole family. Funeral service will be held 12:00 Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Anthony Tucker officiating. burial to follow in the Stuart Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to noon prior to the funeral.

All in attendance at the service are welcome to join the family at Check Elementary School on highway 221 for the re-pass.
