Barbara Daish
Barbara Daish, 75, passed away in Floyd on Sunday, January 13, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Daish; mother, Mildred Garafalo;
father, John V. Johnston and brother, John Vincent Johnston.
She is survived by her daughters Laura Thompson and husband Bob of Greenville, S.C.
and Cindy Britton and husband Bill of Floyd, VA; granddaughters Jessica & Annelise Britton; brother William “Bill” Johnston of Texas and her beloved cat, Fezziwig “Fizz”.
A memorial service will be held in the near future at Vienna Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, NC.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Floyd County Rescue Squad or the American Society of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
