Lillian Ilene Sutphin Epperly

Lillian Ilene Sutphin Epperly, 85, of Floyd, VA, passed away on July 25, 2010.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Julie Sutphin; husband, Harley Epperly; Siblings, Garney, Edith, Maggie, and Esther; and Grandson, Chad Epperly.

She is survived by Daughter and Son In Law, Alice and Jackie Phillips; Daughter, Sue Epperly; and Son, Butch Epperly and special friend Peg Huff; Grandchildren, Jeff and Debra Phillips, Sue Ellen and Dewayne Martin, Matt Phillips, and Justin Epperly; Great Grandchildren, Sarah, Rachel, Megan, Devin, and Cameron; Brother and Sister In Law, Glen and Evena Sutphin; Multiple Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends. The family would like to thank: George Fetko and the Floyd Pharmacy Staff, Dr. Wayne Horney and the Carilion Staff, Joan and Barbara with Carilion Home Health, Dr. James Witten, Dr. Eric Williams, The Staff of Lewis Gale and Carilion New River Valley Hospitals, and Melissa Roberson for always being there.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roy Turpin officiating. Interment will follow in the Jacksonville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at Maberry Funeral Home.
