George W. Royal, Jr., 86 of Floyd, passed away Thursday, March 01, 2012.

Preceded in death by his wife Ethel L. Royal, parents George W. Sr. and Clara Cannaday Royal, sister; Nannie R. Harris, brothers; Virgil Royal & Thomas Royal.

Survived by daughters & sons-in-law; Sue & Maynard Nester, Jeanette Adkins, Lou & Doug Hall, Judy & Bob Bowman. Sons & daughters-in-law; Melvin & Margaret Nester, Everette & Tabitha Nester. Grandchildren; Kaitlyn Hall, April Hall, B.J. Hall, Landon Nester, Josh Nester,

Chelsea Nester, Robin Funk, Amanda Chavez, Matt Bowman, Andy Bowman.

Eleven great-grandchildren. Brother-in-law: Frank Lawson, two nieces and three nephews.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Lowell Hopkins and Elder Tommy Pegram officiating. Interment to follow at Topeco Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2012 at the funeral home.
