Reva Bishop Scaggs

Reva Bishop Scaggs, 82 of Floyd, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edgar G. Scaggs; parents, Troy & Verna Cox Bishop; and brother, Nelson Bishop.

She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Carson & Virginia Scaggs; grandson, Adam Scaggs & wife Caitlyn; great-granddaughter, Harper Grace; sister & brother-in-law, Zelwood & William Weddle; brothers & sisters-in-law, Marlin & Nita Bishop, Jerry & Iola Bishop, Gordon Bishop; sister-in-law, Vera Bishop; 2 step-grandsons; 5 step great-grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews; special friend & caregiver, Nanette West; special friends, Betty Gregg, Vera M. Hollandsworth, Peggy Bishop, and the classmates of 1950.

Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2013 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Roy Turpin and Pastor Mike Woody officiating. Interment to follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at the funeral home.
