
Curtis John Huff
Curtis John Huff, 88 of Christiansburg, formerly of Indian Valley, went home to be with His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Dec. 2, 2011. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years Virginia Pearl Huff, parents John Daniel & Vercie Phillips Huff, from a family of 12 children, surviving are his brothers Erbie and Zeb Huff, and his sisters Ivalene Cox and Ledlie Quesenberry, his four children and their spouses, Robert and Beverly Huff, Phillip and Polly Huff, Kenneth and Kathy Huff, Mary and Bobby Ousley, Eight grandchildren, Curtis Huff, Joanna Huff, Andrew Huff, Wendy Atkins, Lisa Thomas, Mark Huff, Elizabeth Thompson, Johnathan Ousley. Eight great-grandchildren, Shawn & Brady Atkins, Kaitlin, Abbey, & Carly Huff, Emily, Mary Beth, & Katie Thompson. Two step grandchildren David & Nelson Dalton. Three step great grandchildren; Cassie, Whitney & Derek Robinette.
Funeral Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5, 2011 at Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Bond and Rev. James Walker officiating. Interment to follow in Capt. George Quesenberry Cemetery, Indian Valley, with Military Rites by Floyd V.F. W. Post # 7854 and American legion Post # 127.
Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011 at the funeral home. Instead of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to Parkinson’s, heart, diabetes or cancer research, all of which Curtis battled during his life.
