Roger Kent Phillips, Sr. 58 of Salem, VA, passed away Saturday November 6, 2010. He was preceded in death by Son, Roger “Snapper: Kent Phillips, Jr.; Father, Eugene Kelly Phillips, Sr.; Brothers, Paul Allen and Thomas Lee Phillips.

He is survived by Wife, Edith Gaye Phillips; Daughters and Sons-in-law, Melissa and Chuck Widener and Ginger and Jeffrey Conner; Mother, Margie Phillips; Brothers and Sister-in-law, Eugene Kelly Phillips, Jr., Walter Phillips, and Joe Phillips and wife Darlene; Sister and Brother-in-law, Virginia and Garland Conner; Grandchildren, Kent Phillips, Levi Phillips, Amber Dalton, Allen Conner, and Adam Conner.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 9th, 2010 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roy Turpin officiating. Interment will follow in the Duncan Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8p.m. on Monday, November 8th, 2010 at Maberry Funeral Home.
