Catherine Weddle Quesinberry

Catherine (Cathy) Weddle Quesinberry, a delightful 73 year old, of Meadows of Dan, VA, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2011.

Preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Daisy Boyd Weddle; Sisters, Carolyn Weddle Magona and Frances Weddle Hatcher; Brother Bruce Weddle; and Grandson, Russell Quesinberry.

Survivors include Husband of 55 Years, Gary B. Quesinberry; Four Children, Vance Edward Quesinberry and wife Debra, Linda Sue Oechsel and husband Russ, Roger Wayne Quesinberry and wife Brenda, and Elise Suzanne Hylton and husband James; 14 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren; Siblings, Hilda Belcher, Delpha Sutphin, Lyndell Bower, and Janet Hylton.

Cathy and Gary were happily married for 55 years. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was an excellent cook and seamstress with a wily sense of humor.

Funeral services will be held 3:30 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2011 at the Conners View Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Edward Bowman and The Rev. Russ Oechsel, Jr. officiating. Family will receive friends from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. prior to the service. Interment to follow in the Reed Island Springs Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Reception to follow at the Vesta Community Center.
