Leonard Paul Radford

Leonard Paul Radford, 75, of Floyd, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, May 1, 2009, after a lengthy illness. He was born on November 20, 1933 to Swanson and Ethel Underwood Radford. He was predeceased by his Father Swanson; Brother Harry Lee Radford; Daughter Alisa Radford; Son Danny Radford; and Granddaughter Rebecca Sink. He was a member of New Haven Baptist Church.

He is survived by his Wife of 52 years Sadie Radford; Mother Ethel Radford, Son and Daughter-In-Law Paul and Debbie Radford, Daughter and Son-In-Law Jane Radford and Tom Price.

His Grandchildren Brandy McGuire and husband Tom, Jessica Radford, Joshua Radford, Katrina Hawks, Jade Hawks, and Skyler Radford Price; One Great Grandchild Tres McGuire; Brothers and Sister-In-Laws Marvin and Jean Radford, Doris and Chris Dickerson, Roger and Sally Radford; Many nieces and nephews; Special friends Jim Altizer, Austin and Gaye Harman, and Larry Thompson.

Funeral services will be on Monday, May 4, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John Chambers officiating. Interment will be at the Williams Cemetery, Floyd, Va. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 3, 2009 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
