Edith Duncan Phillips

Edith Duncan Phillips, 77 of Copper Valley, became another one of God’s Angels on Monday, February 13, 2012. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed caring for her family and always had a meal prepared. She was the Bingo Queen at Radford Health and Rehab, where she had resided with Chester for the last year and a half.

Survived by Husband of 61 years Chester Phillips;Son & Daughter-in-Law, Larry & Ann Phillips; Daughters & Sons-In-Law, Mary & Gordon Harman, Nancy & Jeff Gallimore; Grandchildren,Dale & Nancy Harman, Christopher Harman & fiancée Emily Hollins Wimmer, Jennifer & Dale Smith, Jason & April Phillips, Joshua Gallimore; Great - Grandchildren, Brady & Jonah Harman, Cody Smith, Chloe & Ethan Phillips; Sisters, Norma Graham, Pearl Hodges, and Evelyn Quesenberry.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Radford Health and Rehab for the love and care shown to our mother.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Indian Valley Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. James Walker officiating. Interment to follow in White Rock Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the Indian Valley Pentecostal Holiness Church 3747 Indian Valley Road, Indian Valley, VA from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2012.
