David Jr. Whorley

David Jr. Whorley, age 75, of Bent Mountain, entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 16, 2009.

He was preceded in death by One Son, Larry Jr. (Smitty) Whorley, Parents, Gratton and Virginia (Ginny) Whorley; 6 Brothers, John, Eugene, Arthur (Art), Ed, Charles Russell (Rutt), and Douglas (Doug) Whorley.

Left to cherish his memory are his Wife, Roxie Whorley; Two Daughters, Charlene and husband Rochevious Nance and Edna (Susie) Whorley; Two Sons, Martin (Guy) and wife Dana Whorley and Christopher (Chris) Whorley; Two Sisters, Claris and husband Manuel Webb and Dora Hunt; Two Brothers, Roosevelt Whorley and Allen Truman and wife Hazel Whorley; One Aunt, Fannie Webb; 14 Grands; 7 Great Grands; A Host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at the Bent Mountain Baptist Church with Rev. Wallace Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Webb Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, October 23, 2009 at the Bent Mountain Baptist Church.
