Allen Crocket Spence

Allen Crocket Spence, age 84 of Willis, passed away Nov. 23, 2008. Allen was a World War II Veteran who serviced in France and Germany. He was born May 19, 1924 to the late Ellis Bud and Flotilla Moles Spence. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 1 sister.

Survivors include Brother & Sister-In-Law Trenton & Beatrice Spence of Claudville, VA, Sisters Corinna Dougill of Independence, VA and Nelderee Reynolds of Willis, VA. Many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday Nov. 26, 2008 at Maberry Funeral Home, with Rev. Roy Turpin officiating.

Interment to follow in Blue Ridge Cemetery. Family will receive friends Tuesday Nov. 25, 2008 from 6-8 P.M. at Maberry Funeral Home.
