Geneva Caryleen Turpin

Geneva Caryleen Marshall Turpin, 85, of Floyd, VA, left on her heavenly journey Thursday, October 21, 2010. Those left to cherish her memory are her ten children and spouses: Ray & Linda Turpin, Roy & Juanita Turpin, Wanda Cox, Bonnie & Jesse Lawrence, Juanita & Joe Salmons, Kathy Adkins, Rita Turpin & James Worrell, Marla & Danny Owen, Teresa & Scott Beard, and Buddy Turpin; Sisters, Isabelle Jalis of Dumfries, VA and Oleda Henley of Pulaski, VA; Brother, Guy Marshall of Max Meadows, VA; 15 Grandchildren; 17 Great Grandchildren; 3 Great-Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Husband, Uriah Turpin and Two Sons, Guy Turpin and Garry Joe Turpin; Three Brothers, Jesse Marshall, Everette Marshall, and Will Marshall.

Always with a ready smile and a great sense of humor, she rarely complained even though you knew at times her heart was breaking. Her love of nature was apparent by her surroundings and she dearly loved her children, grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren and being blessed with Buddy, has filled her life with joy and happiness beyond compare.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ralph Duncan officiating. Interment will follow in the Duncan Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Maberry Funeral Home.
