
Patsy Gail Phillips
Patsy Gail Phillips, 58 of Floyd, passed away Wednesday December 17, 2008. Loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother.
Preceded in death by her father Theron A. Phillips.
Survived by Mother Martha Agnes Phillips; Daughter Martha Kristen Howell; Granddaughter Brittney N. Howell; Grandson Michael “Mikey” Howell; Sisters & brothers-in-law: Peggy & Joe Quesenberry, Dolly Phillips (very special caregiver), and Nancy & Kenny Page; Niece & husband Emily & Joey Kaylor; Nephews: Zachary Conner, Joshua Conner, and Jacob Phillips.
Patsy completed her B.S. in Career and Technical education at Virginia Tech. She followed this with a Master’s Degree in Psychology at Radford University. Patsy’s most recent employment was with the Judge Advocate General’s office in Charlottesville, VA; however, she dearly loved writing and helping care for others, especially her grandmother Mandy Coburn and uncle Don Coburn.
Patsy’s family would like to thank each and every one for the support, visits, prayers, and the many acts of kindness extended to them and especially Patsy through the time of her illness.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday December 20, 2008 at Maberry Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Pugh officiating. Interment to follow at White Rock Cemetery. Family will receive friends 12 noon until 2 P.M. prior to the funeral. Arrangements by Maberry Funeral Home.
