Herbert Clive Hollandsworth

Herbert Clive Hollandsworth, 79 of Willis, passed away on Friday February 21, 2009. He was preceded in death by: Parents Wilbert Clive & Ruby Quesenberry Hollandsworth; Wife Carleen Roop Hollandsworth; Son Richard Daley Hollandsworth; and Granddaughter Jessica Dawn Hollandsworth.

Mr. Hollandsworth retired from the Radford Arsenal after 27 years as a Roads & Grounds Foreman. He milked 50-60 cows a day on his farm in Willis, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was an avid race fan.

Survivors include: Sons and Daughter in laws: Ralph & Alice Hollandsworth; Bobby & Leslie Hollandsworth; Dennis Hollandsworth; and Glenn & Sherry Hollandsworth, All of Willis; and Benny & Rebecca Hollandsworth of Floyd; and Betty Hollandsworth of Peterstown, WV.; Daughter and Son in law: Linda & Donnie Bolt of Willis; Brothers: Randolph Hollandsworth of Randleman, NC and Elder Larry Hollandsworth of Hiwassee; Sisters: Ruth Gallimore of Greensboro, NC.; Bessie Cox of Radford; June Reynolds and Majella Myers, Both of Pulaski; Ardith Harris of Ruskin, FL.; Joyce Henley of Christiansburg and Joan Henley of Bent Mountain; 4 Grandchildren; 4 Step-Grandchildren; 5 Great-Grandchildren; and 4 Step-Great-Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday February 24, 2009 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd, with Elder Larry Hollandsworth & Elder Allen Terry officiating. Interment will follow at Hollandsworth Cemetery, Willis. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Monday February 23, 2009 at Maberry Funeral Home.
